Not sure this is such a good advertisement in the land of Mercedes and BMWs...
Approaching the school. Notice how many people are in the yard.
A complete ballot list for each ward was listed on boards at the entrances.
Classrooms open directly onto the walkway. If you think it's odd that there are no signs of life in the school windows, it's because the national primary school teachers union has been on strike for more than a month! and the parents are going crazy.
Knots of policepeople (military?) here and there, looking official but not very busy as they hang out by the goal posts.
Even the dogs come to vote.
